Law enforcement officers, pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade teachers and firefighters/emergency medical technicians can contribute to community revitalization while becoming homeowne rs through HUD's Good Neighbor Next Door Sales Program. HUD offers a substantial incentive in the form of a discount of 50% from the list price of the home. In return you must commit to live in the property for 36 months as your sole residence. |

The Neighborhood Stabilization Program
Will provide forgivable down-payment assistance of $7500 and a forgivable second mortgage of $15,000 with no interest and no payments to purchase selected homes in targeted neighborhoods in Gwinnett County. There are Maximum House hold Income Limitation and you must invest 1% of the purchase price towards buying the home, complete an 8 hr. HUD-approved homebuyer course and occupy the home as your principal residence.
Gwinnett County Homestretch
First time buyers who meet income limitations can qualify for $7500 in down-payment assistance money to be forgiven if you live in the home for 5 years. Must complete 8 hr. HUD approved homebuyer course and occupy home as principal residence. Home must also pass Homestretch Inspection.
Advantage Mortgage Partners an Affiliate of Wells Fargo Offers a free appraisal with a loan closed with them. Also they will donate $300 at closing to your school.
